Frequently asked help.

What does WayBack Restoration actually do?

We recover websites that no longer exist by pulling every page, image, stylesheet, and script from snapshots stored on the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, then package them into a working site you can download or have deployed straight into WordPress.

Anyone who’s lost access to an old website — former business owners, bloggers, agencies reviving expired domains for SEO, developers recovering a client’s site after a hosting lapse, or hobbyists wanting an old project back.

No. You paste in the Wayback Machine snapshot URL, fill in your details, and we handle the entire recovery process. The result is delivered as a ready-to-use download link or, with the WordPress add-on, a fully working WordPress site.

If the Wayback Machine has no snapshots of your domain, there’s nothing for us to recover. Message us before ordering and we’ll check availability for free, so you never pay for a site that isn’t archived.

Starter plans begin at $12 per domain for a one-time full site recovery. Pro is $29 and adds WordPress conversion plus priority turnaround. Bulk/Agency is $99 per month for unlimited domain orders, built for SEO professionals managing multiple PBN sites.

Starter and Pro are one-time payments per domain. Bulk/Agency is the only recurring plan, billed monthly, and can be cancelled anytime.

Yes. If we’re unable to recover your website from the Wayback Machine after payment, you receive a full refund — no questions asked.

Yes. Starter and Pro orders are processed per domain, so you can submit as many separate orders as you need. If you’re handling more than a handful of domains regularly, the Bulk/Agency plan is usually more cost-effective.

We accept PayPal and all major credit and debit cards through a fully SSL-encrypted checkout. We never store your card details on our servers.

Our crawler follows internal links up to 10 levels deep from your homepage, capturing every page reachable within that depth along with its images, CSS, JavaScript, and fonts.

Yes. Our restoration engine detects and cleans up broken internal links and archive.org redirect artifacts so the recovered site behaves like the original, not like a raw archive dump.

Standard orders are delivered as a clean, organized HTML package — ready to upload to any web host. Pro and Bulk orders can instead be delivered as a fully configured WordPress installation.

We recover everything the Wayback Machine archived, which is typically static HTML, images, and front-end assets. Server-side functionality like shopping carts, login systems, or databases generally isn’t captured by the Wayback Machine and can’t be restored, since archive snapshots only store what a browser would have rendered.

Yes, separately from our archive recovery service we also offer a live website downloader that captures every asset from any currently accessible URL in real time, no archive snapshot required.

We rebuild your recovered pages as native WordPress pages, recreate your navigation menus, and integrate everything into a clean working theme — so it’s ready to edit and publish from the WordPress dashboard.

Yes. WordPress conversion is included by default in Pro and Bulk plans, and can be added to a Starter order for an extra $15.

Bulk/Agency subscribers get a dedicated order queue for managing multiple expired-domain restorations at once, along with tooling tailored to private blog network workflows — bulk status tracking, prioritized processing, and a dedicated account manager.

No. Bulk/Agency includes unlimited domain orders for the duration of your monthly subscription.

Most Starter and standard orders are completed within 24 hours. Pro plan orders are prioritized and typically finished within 12 hours. Bulk subscribers receive highest-priority queue placement.

You’ll receive an email with a secure, private download link once your order is complete. WordPress deployments include login details for your new WordPress installation.

Reach out through our contact page with your order details and we’ll review and fix any issues at no extra cost.

Email us anytime at support@waybackrestoration.com or use the contact form on our Contact Us page. Pro and Bulk plan customers receive priority response times.
