1. Service Description
Wayback Restoration is a website recovery service that retrieves deleted or lost websites from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine and rebuilds them in their current form. Our services include:
HTML restoration and static site rebuilds
WordPress and Elementor site rebuilds
Shopify and WooCommerce store restoration
We deliver restored files via download link or WordPress/WooCommerce installation, depending on your service tier. Turnaround times are specified at the time of order.
2. User Responsibilities
When using Wayback Restoration, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about the website URL(s) you wish to restore
Verify that you have the legal right to use and restore the website content
Use restored websites only for lawful purposes
Not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights
Not use our service for spam, phishing, malware distribution, or other malicious activities
You are solely responsible for any content within the restored website. Wayback Restoration assumes no liability for user-generated content or third-party materials contained in your restored site.
3. Availability and Archival Limitations
We cannot guarantee that all websites or all versions of websites are available in the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. Wayback Restoration’s ability to recover your website depends on:
Whether the Wayback Machine has archived the website
The completeness and quality of archived snapshots
The availability of referenced external assets (images, stylesheets, scripts)
Whether the website used server-side rendering or dynamic content generation
If your website is not available in the Wayback Machine or cannot be successfully restored, Wayback Restoration will work with you to attempt recovery or provide a full refund per our Money-Back Guarantee.
4. Money-Back Guarantee
Wayback Restoration guarantees that if we are unable to successfully restore your website to your satisfaction, we will provide a full refund within 30 days of delivery. To claim a refund:
Contact us within 30 days of order completion with details about why the restoration did not meet your needs
We will attempt to resolve the issue or provide modifications at no additional cost
If resolution is not possible, you are eligible for a full refund of the service fee
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of approval.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
You retain all rights to the content of your restored website. Wayback Restoration does not claim ownership of restored content or original website materials. However:
You grant Wayback Restoration a license to use archived snapshots from the Wayback Machine for restoration purposes
Wayback Restoration retains ownership of its restoration process, tools, and any proprietary technology used in the service
You are responsible for ensuring that restored website content does not violate third-party intellectual property rights
The Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine is a publicly available archive. Content restored from it may include materials subject to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property protections. You assume full responsibility for complying with applicable laws and respecting third-party rights when using restored content.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAYBACK RESTORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data)
Any damages resulting from unavailability of archived content or incomplete restorations
Any claims arising from third-party intellectual property infringement
Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches not caused by Wayback Restoration
In no event shall Wayback Restoration’s total liability exceed the amount paid for the service in question.
7. Warranties and Disclaimers
Wayback Restoration makes no warranties regarding:
The completeness or accuracy of restored content
Compatibility with all browsers, devices, or systems
Performance, uptime, or security of restored websites after delivery
The continued availability of third-party services or APIs referenced in the original site
RESTORED WEBSITES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” BASIS. WAYBACK RESTORATION DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Payment and Refunds
Payment is processed via Stripe at the time of order. Accepted payment methods include credit cards and other Stripe-supported options. All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of service delivery. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of approval. Refunds are subject to our Money-Back Guarantee terms outlined in Section 4.
9. Termination of Service
Wayback Restoration reserves the right to refuse service or terminate access to any customer who:
Uses the service for illegal or malicious purposes
Infringes upon third-party intellectual property rights
Violates these Terms and Conditions
Engages in abuse, harassment, or fraudulent behavior
Upon termination, any service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or Wayback Restoration services shall first be addressed through informal negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
By using Wayback Restoration services, you agree to waive the right to pursue claims in court or participate in class-action lawsuits.
11. Modifications to Terms
Wayback Restoration reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following publication of modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For substantial changes, we will provide notice via email to the address associated with your account.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Wayback Restoration regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations.
